Just thought that I'd post some neat local places that are inexpensive for some great Summer Fun.   Calypso Bay Park is located in Royal Palm Beach, FL.  It's part of the Palm Beach Parks and Recreation Department.  Very in expensive way to have some summer fun.  My family has been going to this place for the past 5 years and it's never gotten old.  Beats traveling and paying a high price for a water park for just a day event.  Check it out.   Something to think about!!!  You may see us there very soon!!!

Meal Plan Monday!!

Meal planning is an important tasks in our home.  We are so busy that sitting down and making sure what we decide to eat is in fact what we end up having.  I usually let my kids help decide what we are having for the week.  It doesn't always work out to be exact but we pretty much stick to the plan.  It makes my shopping days SO MUCH easier!!!   With this weeks sale @ Publix there are some really good ways to eat healthy as well. 



Monday-   Sante Fe Chicken Enchiladas, yellow rice, Broccoli with Cheese sauce
Tuesday-  Shopping day so this will be a quick meal,  Breakfast for dinner always goes well in my house 
Wednesday- Well my sister is visiting from SC and she's a WONDERFUL cook.  We will be joining  them for         dinner!!   :)  Yummy 
Thursday- Beef and Turkey Tacos and mom always has the Taco Salad   :) 
Friday- Dinner out.  not sure yet where since sis is visiting
Saturday-  BBQ @ my brothers which will be BBQ Chicken Ribs, and everyone is  bringing a covered dish   :) 
Sunday- I usually try to make Sunday a nice sit down dinner dish.  I am thinking stuff pork chops, rice risotto, and a steamed veggie..

Dinner

 Bailey is cooking dinner.  She's @ that age and loves to cook.  So last night we made a wonderful dinner using some things we have purchased on sale of course!!!  
Here are some pics of what she made.  I promised her I would post them. 

 Taters, Onions, Red and Green peppers seasoned with Season-All and cooked in Olive oil
YUMMY!!!!!1 

Chicken and Steak Kabobs with onions, mushrooms, green and red peppers.  Marinaded in Grill Mates Mesquite.  Talk about a walkabout dinner...  Man these were WONDERFUL!!! 

We also made fried corn which we forgot to take a picture of but dinner was FANTASTIC!!! 

Thank you Bailey for helping and well....  cooking a mean dinner with an AWESOME  Blackberry Cobbler for dessert.

Meal Plan Monday!!

Meal planning is  our way of making our shopping much easier.  If you know what you are cooking for the week it makes grocery shopping much easier.  This week we are having the following. 

Monday- Venison with baked cheddar potatoes and broccoli
Tuesday-  Taco Salad kids will have some tacos
Wednesday-Baked Snook ( fish) corn fritters and grits.   (yeah, that's a good old Southern dish)
Thursday-  Breakfast For Dinner
Friday- Steak and chicken kabobs Mesquite marinade, roasted potatoes with red peppers, and Corn
Saturday- LEFT OVERS  
Sunday  It's our baseball party @ the bowling alley so we will be eating on the run!!  :)

Winn Dixie Deals

 I didn't get a chance to really look over the add for this week.  Check out Yes I Have a Coupon Melissa and I racked up a nice stock pile and donation pile of POWERADE drinks.  Yes  we got 90 drinks last night for less then $20 bucks!!!   It was fun.  We did clear the shelf however it was the last day of the sale so no harm was done.  Not to mention 10 o'clock last night.  Again we will keep some and donate some for Lake Denton Camp.   I'm getting excited to see what all we will be taking out there this year that I can get basically for free!!!

Publix Trip

OK OK OK  I added a few more items and a few more quantities since there were some fantastic deals.   also cashed in on a few rain checks.   We had a new addition to couponing with us last night and HE did excellent!!!   Way to go Dale.  Glad we were able to help you save some mullah!!!   It worked out for me last night I got $330 total groceries and my final bill.... 
drumrolllllll  please!!!  $70.35. That's an 80% savings!!!!  SWEET!!     I got a few things I wouldn't normally purchase however it was free stuff that I can donate. 
Lake Denton Camp will be place of choice.  Since my kids are attending and I will be counseling there as well as  Bryan,  we decided we would donate some items to them.  Our way of pay it forward!!!  :)  
I will be getting ready for next weeks shopping trip over the weekend.  Right now my pantry and frig has ELZILCHO room.

WORD TO THE WISE

I've been asked  by several people to host a coupon class or workshop.  I've not had the time to be able to do one.  However,  I have been approached by several people and managers in our area that there are workshops that are happening in our area @ this time.     I don't think some of the stuff being said  in these workshops is COMPLETELY the way TRUE couponing is done but you have to use good judgement and know if you are doing something wrong.....  you will get caught!!!
 NO  it is not Melissa and I having these workshops and or getting busted doing things wrong not to mention ILLEGAL!!     I'd love to make some extra cash but I just don't feel good about taking money where money is trying to be saved by all of us.....  So with that being said...  I help where I can help and it's called PAY IT FORWARD!!!   :)   If you need help with ideas or couponing....  I'm a phone call away  ( email to some of you) !!!    Good luck and I will do what I can to post what I can to save some mullah!!!   :)

Great Florida Summer Camp!!!

My daughter has attended this camp for 3 years now.  She gets so excited when summer is approaching.  This past Spring Break my son had an opportunity to attend as well.  He too had a FANTASTIC TIME!!!    I was able to attend with them for the first time as a counselor.  It was a great experience and I will do it over and over again!!!   If you live in Florida, check out Lake Denton Camp.   It's a beautiful place and my kids absolutely love it!!!    Getting the Gospel while having TONS OF FUN!!!!

Start a week with Meal Planning Monday!!! This is a great way to get yourself organized. Make Life more simple with Meal Planning. Now there's no more"MOM, What's for dinner"
Now all of you know how busy I am this time of year. With Football season fast approaching and my daughter playing Travel Volleyball and all these summer camps and such, we are constantly on the go. I am going to post my meal plans for the week. It's easy as reviewing what I will be purchasing from my local grocery and or what I have purchased over the week. This should make meal planning a much smoother process!!!

Monday- Crawfish, shrimp and pork Etoufette over white rice
Tuesday- chicken and yellow rice with snap peas and red peppers
Wednesday-Pasta Primavera!!! YUMMY my favorite and I love the philly creme cheese recipes!!!
Thursday-Mesquite chicken , homemade creme style corn, mashed cheddar potatoes and a SALAD!!
Friday- HOME MADE PIZZA!!!!!

I'M BACK!!!

Sorry guys for the hiding....   I've been real busy with Family Matters.  Bryan's surgery went FANTASTIC thank you all for your prayers.  he's home and is recovery very well!!!   Kids are almost out of school.   We are excited about SUMMER!!!!!   We are taking a few family days to do some fun stuff!!!   I will be updating my page daily now that my life is getting back to normal....  RIGHT  those who know me, I've never been normal!!!   Luv you guys!!!
