Happy Thanksgiving....  I'd list my menu but we all know we eat way to much and it's a lot food!!!   Just wanted to wish my blogging friends  a wonderful Holiday!!!     I know I will be thankful for all that I am blessed with and whatever has to come!!!

Meal Plan Monday

Meal planning is always a treat in my house.   I started restocking my pantry this past week so it was a bit easier for the kids to put our meals together.  PLUS this week is a couple of night outs... 

Monday- Stuff chicken breast, with Tomato Basil, brown rice and mozzarella cheese.  Steamed broccoli/ carrots and a small salad.

Tuesday- Chicken and Gnocchi Soup   This is a favorite of my kids and they have been begging for soup!! 

Wednesday- Meetings for RELAY FOR LIFE and out for Dinner  Bailey's Birthday!!!  :)

Thursday- Hamburgers, hotdogs and the BBQ fixings 

Friday- Grab and go... we have the Family Fund Day @ Butch's Yacht club to work for Relay for Life.  Lots of running around tonite!!!  

Saturday- and Sunday we will be spending time @ the Family Fun Day and Events!!  :)

Publix Steats!!!

After a while of not having to shop I have depleted down my pantry to start again for stocking up.  Last night was a quiet night @ my local Publix.  Thankfully!!!     I shopped, searched and gathered information for my next trips.....  Walked out of Publix with $435.00 worth the stuff for less then $195 bucks  YEAH!!!    That was with about $40-$50 in meats and $25 in Deli subs for dinner.   Such a great feeling to get my groceries for nearly 70% off....  :)

Happy Halloween!!!

 

I hope everyone had a fantastic Halloween.  My family loaded a trailer full of kids from the neighborhood as well as friends and family.  We trick or treated the neighborhood.  Had a great time and some good Laughs!!

Family Matters

Fall is one of my favorite times of the year...  It's the start of the Cool weather....  Christmas is my favorite but Fall to me is sort of a kick off.   We decided this year that we were not decorating for Halloween.  However I had to make a cute little stop @ my front porch.

Relay for Life

IT'S HERE!!!   The Relay for Life  we will be hosting this in Okeechobee, Florida April 2012.  
We are striving through the DECADES and will help fund money for research and help with the American Cancer Society!!  
More an more people are effected every year with Cancer.  Our Goal is MORE BIRTHDAYS!!!    Cancer takes the life of loved ones, friends, relatives and so on and we are going to BEAT IT!!!  
the Dream Team is hosting a Thirty One Tote Fundraiser for this event.

Breast Cancer Awareness

Well here is an updated pic of my son.....  he colored his hair Friday for a day @ school for Breast Cancer Awareness.  BEGGED me to leave it in for Saturday's football games which we did....  However after the games we were right @ the barber shop....  Here's his new dew.....  YEAH  a flat top with pink highlights  You go TAN-MAN!!!

Meal Plan Monday

  Meal planning is always fun in my house .  We usually get the whole family involved.  We are still going 100 miles wide opened.  Volleyball is slowing down but will fire back up in November. Gives us a little bit of a break. 
this week we are keeping it simple until we get done with football and cheerleading.  It's winding down thankfully.  

Monday-  Shrimp Scampi garlic mashed potatoes and fried corn with sweet peppers
Tuesday- Hamburgers with Mac & Cheese and sweet pea pods
Wednesday- Night out on the town since we have games and cheerleading practices....  :)
Thursday- Stuff Chicken Breasts, with wild brown rice pilaf a fresh express salad
Friday-   Momma have a 31 party so we will have left overs!!!  
Saturday- Chili with cornbread.   YES A COLD SNAP for south Florida is in the works!!!   YEAH!!!

Breast Cancer Awareness

 With it being the month of October Today @ my kids schools they are to wear pink....  ANYTHING goes they said....  well....  last night we dyed my son's hair  Pink!!!    He will be the first to tell you it's to make those aware of Breast Cancer.....  and real men wear PINK!!    :)

Meal Plan Monday!!

Mondays are always fun.  We get to plan the whole week for dinners.   I thought I would share a great way my kids get to be involved.   Our pantry door had  worn down.  So instead of painting it and taking the chance of the wood not matching we decided to chalkboard paint it.  My kids LOVE writing on chalk boards so this was a great way for them to get involved.   I write on it as I need to replenish and they write on it for ideas for dinners.    So no more asking mom what's for dinner....  Just check the door to the pantry!!  :)

We are so busy this week.  Each day either Tanner has a game or Bailey has a game..  My house is the "crazed" house on the left of the street  lol 

Monday-  Game night....  Grilled burgers and hot dogs.   Mac and cheese and broc with cheddar sauce

Tuesday-  Game night so we will have a nice treat for dinner @ Pizza Heaven.  One of the best little mom and pop pizza places in town!!!   Love the food and the people there. 

Wednesday- Game night again!!!     Tacos come to mind.    something quick and the kids can grab as the come in... finish up homework, shower and hit the sack... 

Thursday-  Guess what, game night for volleyball and cheer night...  

Tyson chicken breast sandwiches with tater tots and green beans 

Friday- Mom has a Thirty One Party so Missy is cooking dinner.  hopefully she makes Lasagna.  she makes the best there is... 

Saturday- Game day for football.  I will crock pot a roast for tonight!!  YUMMY!!!  We also will be headed out for Ice Skating for Payton's 8th Birthday.  I can't wait!!!   Kids absolutely LOVED it last time we were there.  

Sunday- we will be @ church lunch in Sebring.  I have a nice coupon for a free steak that I need to burn up so we may make it a day out and have a late lunch/ dinner.....  maybe a late night PB&J   Always a favorite in my household.

totally Tuesday!!!

Totally TANNER Tuesday.   He's playing a football game this evening so we are excited to watch him.  He's so stinking cute on the mighty mites team....   Dinner out this evening after the game and hopefully it's a celebration dinner!!   GO VIKINGS, Go TANNER!!!   Good Luck and we love you!!   Take 'em down big guy!!   Block'em hard!!
