4/19 Publix Trip!!

Happy camper tonight!!   I got all the stuff I listed below as well as a few Mug sodas and Publix Lemon Lime drinks, 6 bags of dog food... and 6 cans for free!!!   total with my coupons was........ drum roll please...... 

$65.83 and got $$355.60 worth the food....  Filled my freezer, pantry and frig...  :)  

Loving Life when I stay within budget.

Meal Plan Monday

Now all of you know how busy I am this time of year. With Baseball season fast approaching and my daughter playing Travel Volleyball. We are constantly on the go. I am going to post my meal plans for the week. It's easy as reviewing what I will be purchasing from my local grocery and or what I have purchased over the week. This should make meal planning a much smoother process!!!

Monday- Grille Mango/lime chicken, shrimp fried rice and broccoli florets
Tuesday- Taco Salad with venison YUMMY
Wednesday- It's our Friends Birthday so we are being treated to Dinner @ Yes I Have A Coupon
Thursday- Grilled Steaks, mashed cheddar potatoes and a SALAD!!
Friday- FREE FOR ALL !!! I am on VACATION so we will see what kind of mess we make in my kitchen... Looks like fresh homemade Pizza's are in my future!!
Send me your recipes.... I am excited to have some new ideas for Dinner!!!

Gold winners!!

well what an eventful weekend!!!   Had a volleyball tournament in Maitland, Florida, RDV Sports complex.  We we're lucky to get any Magic Basketball autographs, however we were lucky enough to take the GOLD!!! Way to go BLJ !!!   You know it!! 
Congrats to all the girls.  They played and awesome tournament.

What, When and Where!!!

Every time I go shopping I have someone stop to check out my book, check out what I purchased and they always asked the question, "where do you get your coupons?"   To a couponer that's asking the golden question.   

 It's organization that helps me keep them in tack.  Most "couponers" have there own way of organizing.  I prefer to clip my coupons and store them in my book.   I clip what I know goes on sale or items I know that my family will use.   Anything else I clip and file for others to take.  I found that filing them by the Sunday paper dates wasn't working for me since most stores don't advertise their clearance items.   I would get to the store and see something on clearance and not have a way to get the coupon since it was @ home or better yet not know that I have it to make it a cheaper better deal.   This way, I have my book with me, I see something on sale, well guess what, I now can get it right then and not risk it being gone by the time I came back with the coupon.  This was a way for me to be able to save more money.   I create my shopping list the day before I go so it gives me some time to think about it and make sure I have all the coupons ready.   It takes me about 30 minutes to get my shopping together and pull coupons from my book. 

I started out couponing and using my store layout as a guide.   It was easier for me to be able to find items.  After couponing and seeing other "coupon bibles"  I think doing it by food item would be easier to locate the coupons.   I now am in the process of "revamping" my book to make it easier for me. 

Everyone that uses coupons have different websites different resources for coupons.   I found where I live the best for me is.....  drum roll please......   I get 2 Sunday papers each week, I use Yes I Have a Coupon  which has links on it for coupons my biggest resource is
I Heart Publix   she helps by providing the sales for the week along with the following week so I can see if it's something I need BAD or if I can wait to catch a better deal.    She has resources of coupons that can be printed and used.   In my area our sales run in a 6 week cycle so I know if something is on sale today it won't be on sale again for 6 weeks.   Viola!!   There you have a couponer's golden rule.
Just remember the sites because they are the key to a cheaper shopping experience!!

Happy Dance Report!!

I just got home from shopping. I purchased what I posted earlier. I got $285 bucks worth the groceries for $69.16. That's a savings of 75% How AWESOME is that. My hubby's happy cause I got him V8 splash to drink, My kids are happy cause I have 12 boxes of cereal and they LOVE cereal, my dogs are very happy since I was able to get 10 bags of treats for $2.50. Mama's happy because she filled the pantry again for under the budget!! Plus I helped 3 friends @ the store save over $30 bucks as well.

Sunday Chilax Day!!

Just hung out today.  I got one of the rooms done and got a huge black garbage bag for my garage sale.  Got the room all cleaned up.  Grilled some burgers and dogs for lunch.  Laid out in the sun and got burnt...  Start of a new week!!!  Going to work on a room a day until I have it all cleaned for Spring cleaning....   Then I don't feel like I am killing myself to do it all @ once.

I'm sitting here this evening just chilling @ home.  Kids are in bed long asleep.  Bryan and I watching

TV.  My friend and her family came over this evening, we, well  she, made dinner.  I hung out.  It's nice every once in a while to be able to do that.  Tomorrow we have Tanner's baseball game.  I don't get to see many during the week.  Not nearly as much as I would like.  However, he said he's going to do his best tomorrow to hit mommy a home run.   Since Bryan is coaching and I will be doing the baseball book, I will get to see 1st hand play by play.  I hope destiny shows my little man he's a good ball player. 

I'm going to do my best to start some spring cleaning and get through some of the things I need to get done at home.  Garage sale, is on the mind....  out with the old stuff and Spring Clean my home.   We will be starting off on Bailey and Tanner's rooms.   Wish me luck!!!   Off for a relaxing and productive weekend!!  Oh and I gotta do some couponing..  lol

Well words can describe what SAVINGS we all are getting!!!   Just wanted to let you know, Lisa did her couponing last night @ Publix....  she too is now on the wagon.   She was able to get $95.00 worth the groceries for $35.00 that's a savings of 65%
